November 2017

For a time I lived in an apartment above Uncle Joe’s restaurant, with a bird’s eye view of heritage shops and buildings. Directly across was a century home converted to a doctor’s office. One November I caught the full moon on a glorious, bracing night, shining down on a quiet village street and snapped this photo. I called it The Chiropractor’s Moon.

Tonight I happened upon the image and saw it was its anniversary.

So here, in honour of the rhythm and calendar of the spheres, are The Chiropractor’s Moon 2, 3, and 4.

“Moonrise across the street, before we even know we might need a laying on of hands....”
